DESIGNER TRAINING

A Designer is a mid level position with Spade and Archer. They are charged with selecting all items needed to stage a home, the placement of all items including furniture, accessories, artwork and linens. They report to the creative director. They work Monday through Thursday from 7:30am until 6:00pm. They wear a uniform shirt while at work.

DESIGNER JOB DESCRIPTIONS

Title: Designer

Accountability: 

  • Select and/or designate all items needed for projects 

  • Design project in accordance to client wishes, feedback, potential demographic, scale, size, style of property and within company standards. 

  • Review projects with Creative Director and lead changes as necessary to complete project. 

  • Document and archive completed projects with photos, floorpans etc.

  • Lead team on job site and in warehouse in regards to projects 

  • Lead external and internal communications on project sites 

Responsibility:

  • Help warehouse staff as needed 

  • Help creative director as needed 

  • Aid in marketing efforts to insure company is sustainable

  • Follow instruction as giving by Creative Director and Founder

  • Attend site visits as needed and draw floor plans and collect pertinent information such as photographs for each project as necessary to meet our clients’ needs for staging.

  • Attend all staff morning meetings

  • Make decisions based on our core values

  • Set the tone in alignment with our core values
